The Park offers a car top access in the day-use area, located 3.2 miles downstream from the Bentonville access area. The "fish trap" access area, near Shelter 3, is suitable for wade fishing. Freshwater fishing is available, however there are no boat rentals. There are three car-top launches and two outfitters within five minutes of the park.

Front Royal Boat Landing
Luray Avenue
Located in the Town of Front Royal at the end of Luray Avenue provides access to the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. This landing accomodates canoes, and has a concrete ramp for other small boats. There is alos a picnic area, park and a parking lot.

Indian Hollow Boat Launch
Indian Hollow Road, Bentonville, Virginia
This landing is located on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River and has a two-acre parking lot and a gravel ramp. It is located across a low-water bridge on Rte 613 just west of Bentonville.

Route 340 South, approx. 5 miles from Front Royal
Located on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River near the entrance to Gooney Run. The site features a parking lot and gravel ramp. Shoreline access only.
